Events
Our medical events are unique in that it has multi-sectoral engagement. These community outreach events are successful due to the collaboration between local charity organizations, city administration offices, pharmaceuticals, hospitals, catering services, diagnostic centers, specialty clinics, and health professionals. Our partner organizations donate and support us in providing much-needed free health care for those who can’t afford it. We partner with local charity organizations on each event to identify our patients who can benefit from our services.
Our volunteer health professionals range from sub-specialist doctors to medical students. We believe they are the most valuable resources that we have. In addition to free medical services, our volunteers work on health promotion. Breast Cancer, Oral Health, Spina Bifida, Kidney Disease, and Mental Health are areas we have conducted campaigns and awareness creation projects.
Services during the event include
- General medical services(Vital signs, history, and physical examination)
- Laboratory services(Urinanalysis, Stool examination, Complete blood count, Hepatitis, Pregnancy test)
- HIV counseling, detection, and linkage for treatment
- Hypertension and Diabetes Checkup
- Pediatric services (Malnutrition detection and treatment, deworming, respiratory infections, gastrointestinal diseases….)
- Family planning services(pills, injectables, implants)
- Provision of Medications
- Referral to Tertiary hospitals and private clinics
Health Education is also be part of the event (topic chosen based on the demographics of the outreach area) which includes

- Communicable Diseases
- Covid-19
