Since its establishment, GIV Society Ethiopia has given free medical services for more than 3000 individuals, from the homeless to those of lower socioeconomic status in 8 sub-cities of Addis Ababa. It has also given meals, sanitary materials for women, and stationary materials for students, monthly cloth donations besides the health education and service it provides.

Our highly anticipated monthly free medical services have a holistic approach to the services given. They integrate different medical aspects such as dentistry, ophthalmology, laboratory services, specialist consultations, family planning, and medication provision. We also have referral systems for advanced cases requiring further treatment with tertiary hospitals such as St. Peter Specialized Hospital.

Our medical events are unique in that it has multisector engagement. These community outreach events are successful due to the collaboration between local charity organizations, city administration offices, pharmaceuticals, hospitals, catering services, diagnostic centers, specialty clinics, and health professionals.
